Data deletion
How to have your data deleted, including anything DeeZen received from Facebook.
Where your data lives
- On your own computer. Conversations, memories, settings, connected social accounts and the access tokens for them are stored on the device running Dee — not on our servers.
- With Paddle (our payment processor): your purchase and invoice records, if you have ever paid.
- With the social platforms you chose to publish to (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and others): the posts you published, under their own policies.
- With us: support emails you send to support@deezen.ai.
Delete data received from Facebook
Data we receive through Facebook Login — the list of Pages you administer, your Page access token and anything you publish — is stored only on your computer.
- In Dee: Publish → Connected accounts → Facebook → Disconnect. The Page token is deleted from your device immediately.
- In Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → remove DeeZen. Facebook revokes the token on its side.
- To have anything else removed, email us (below) and we will delete it and confirm.
Request deletion by email
Write to support@deezen.ai with the subject Data deletion request, from the address you used with DeeZen. We reply within 30 days to confirm what was deleted.
What we cannot delete
Records we are required to keep for tax and accounting (for example Paddle invoice records) are retained for the period Australian law requires, and then deleted. Nothing else is kept.
